Learn More About the EEC
Climate change is impacting our world more than ever before. It has never been more important than now for us to understand and work to save our planet. We must begin to engineer and create new solutions because if we don't, we may not have enough time left. The Environmental Engineering Club (EEC) will allow students to engineer solutions to climate related issues by providing knowledge about climate change as well as engineering. We want students to make positive change in the Hotchkiss community and in the world and have the opportunity to use their creativity in engineering to help save the environment. In addition to engineering solutions, we also hope to advocate for science based solutions and research to help our community become more environmentally conscious and sustainable. We also hope to make a positive impact on our community by having fundraisers to support local environmental non-profits which are working to preserve our world. To spread the importance of engineering solutions to environmental related issues and help educate our community on climate change, our club will publish a paper each marking period with the work being done within the club in addition to what's happening around the world.
